Taiwan Academy Education holds that students’ participation and involvement is the key to students’ learning and self-improvement. Focusing on the topic of students’ self-education and administration, Taiwan Academy Education is structured mainly by the joint efforts of Academy’s liberal arts education, concepts of community education, tutor system together with practical curriculums. Taking the situation of China’s higher education reform into consideration, modern academy development should focus on and aim at the following aspects: first, an overall academy community education and general education is applied into practice; secondly, a reform on administration of students’ affairs is carried out in light of students’ administration system; thirdly, the work mode of counselors should be transformed to adapt to the need of students’ administration; fourthly, the project of guiding students’ life values should be started with specific focuses.
