Abstract:Using 106 high-tech enterprises as research samples, this study explores the impact of cross-border search breadth, depth and balance on enterprise innovation performance, as well as the intermediary role of internal and external knowledge heterogeneity. The results show that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between the breadth and depth of cross-border search and the performance of technological innovation, and the balance of cross-border search positively affects the performance of technological innovation, The heterogeneity of internal and external knowledge plays an intermediary role in the relationship between cross-border search strategy and enterprise innovation performance.
