Abstract:Based on the cognitive-affective personality system theory, this study analyzes the influence mechanism of ambidextrous leadership on bootleg innovation. Using Bootstrap method and empirical regression analysis method to analyze the data of 414 samples, and the results showed that ambidextrous leadership had a significant positive impact on bootleg innovation, that the internal network strength of ties and feedback seeking behavior mediated the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and bootleg innovation. Leader identification not only positively moderates the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and internal network strength of ties and feedback seeking behavior, but also positively moderates the indirect effect of ambidextrous leadership on employees’ bootleg innovation via internal network strength of ties and feedback seeking behavior.
